Assistant Design Manager

Major Responsibilities and Objectives:
- Design and implement brand guidelines for the office portfolio, responsible for creative graphic and dynamic poster design, and participation in project positioning for commercial and office buildings, ensuring consistent and high-quality visual identity across all properties and marketing channels.
- Develop consistent brand templates to support internal and external communications.
- Design graphics and animations for social media posts, aligning with the brand’s tone and style.
- Provide creative design support for large events, exhibitions, and promotional activities, ensuring attractive visual effects.
- Select, communicate, and manage external design partners and suppliers, ensuring smooth execution of outsourced design work.
- Work with external suppliers to coordinate the production of images and videos, ensuring deliverables meet brand standards.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Support new project’s marketing work in preparation period, including but not limited to leasing collaterals, interior design, event installations, etc.
- Assit Head of Office Marketing or Office Marketing Manager to plan and implement the marketing initiatives to enhance Swire Properties Office Portfolio’s brand positioning and awareness in Chinese Mainland, focusing on four main pillars including branding, customer engagement, digital experience and sustainability development.
- Work closely with the Office Portfolio Team to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Work collaboratively with other marketing team members, other central departments and MO marketing teams located in different cities to foster a supportive and innovative work environment.
Skills Requirements:
- Proficiency in in 2D/3D dynamic design, proficient in video production software such as PS, AE, PR, and at least one 3D software (e.g., C4D/Blender/UE), as well as graphic design software (AI, PS, ID), with a good sense of aesthetics and creativity, able to complete design work independently.
- Strong knowledge of animation design and social media content creation.
- Experience in both brand-side and design companies, able to guide and oversee external vendors for high-quality production.
- Able to be creative with a solid marketing strategic thinking behind.
- Strong willingness to study new trends in the industry or digital platforms.
- Award-winning design work experience preferred; photography and video editing skills preferred.
- Continuously stay updated with domestic and international design trends and mainstream design websites, learning new design software to constantly improve professional skills.
- Experience in space design and display design related to commercial real estate is preferred (not mandatory).
- Experience in design support for event planning and execution is preferred (not mandatory).
- A good collaborator, able to build partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Proven ability in handling multiple and diverse projects.
- Excellent time management skills
Experience/ Education / Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, branding, or related fields. Previous experience in real estate, office marketing, or corporate branding is a plus.
- Excellent communication, both oral and written in English and Mandarin.
